These are the reasons given most frequently by loving parents that sacrifice much to provide the best educational opportunity for their dear children. Yet while each reason given above is noble and genuinely desired by concerned parents that are seeking an alternative to public education, these reasons fall short of the Biblical purpose for Christian education. A Christian school should exist to equip Christian students to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and to impact their world with the Gospel of Christ. Gethsemane Baptist Christian School (GBCS) is such a school!
