This class is for adults and youth above the 6th grade. Bus Ministry Our Bus Ministry Director is Bro. Joshua Weldon. GBC's bus ministry is used to picking up people who normally would not have a way to church. We pick up children, teens and adults! Convalescent and Retirement Home Ministry The men of GBC have regular times of organized fellowship throughout the year. * Prayer Breakfasts held in Fellowship Hall * Men's Bar-B-Ques * Attend Master's Men's Conference annually in Fresno, California * Men and Boys Camping Trip annually at Big Bear-San Bernadino mountains Our Music Ministry Director is Bro. Nelson Jones. Music is a huge part of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Our music is evangelistic and alive without compromising with the current trends of worldly music. We desire to uplift our Lord with Biblically sound music that is pleasing to Him. * The GBC adult choir sings for Sunday morning and evening services * There are opportunities to join vocal groups for men, ladies, quartets, duets and soloists as well as opportunities for teens * We also have an orchestra that accompanies the services on Sunday mornings and evenings and for special services * We have Special Day cantatas, dramas i.e. God and Country Sundays, Easter, and Christmas.
Since the residents of the convalescent homes cannot attend Sunday church services, we bring church to them. Every Sunday afternoon we sing, we pray, and we preach the gospel to three different convalescent homes. It is our privilege and honor to minister to people in need.
Emmanuel Baptist Rescue Mission/Lancaster Prison Ministry
Once a month our church has the privilege to go to the Emmanuel Baptist Rescue Mission and the people there are looking for food, and we have the honor of giving them the bread of life. Twice a month we travel to Lancaster to minister to the inmates with the Word of God.

Bible study is a vital part of our church. Each class starts on Sunday morning at 9:00 A.M. for all ages. A free, clean and professionally staffed nursery is available for infants and toddlers. Visitation Ministry * Trainer and trainee opportunities to learn how to win souls in our community * Several all-church outreaches for Special Days at GBC i.e. Friend Day and Easter Sunday * Soulwinning and Visitation Opportunities at GBC weekly: * Pastor's Prospecting every Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. to noon * VIP Soulwinning and Visitation every Tuesday afternoon at 6:45 p.m. * Faithfulness Rally Soulwinning every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. * Bus Ministry Outreach every Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Our Youth Pastor is Bro. Ely Reynolds. * We have a youth department for teens in grades 7th through 12th grade that have approximately 80 teens enrolled * Sunday morning provides Bible classes for both high school teens and junior highers * Teens are challenged and are provided materials for daily Bible reading and prayer * Teens gather every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. for soulwinning opportunities in the city * Many of our teens serve in the bus ministry and Vacation Bible School * Weekly, monthly and yearly activities include the following: National Youth Conference, Summer camp, ski trips, paint balling, three-on-three basketball tournament, and bonfires. This is a ministry that includes junior high through high school. We meet every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. for Sunday school. We offer various activities throughout the year as well as ministry opportunities for young people to get involved in. Our goal is to help every single teenager in our youth group experience their full potential as a Christian young person.
